Adam Smith
Adam is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.
Adam specialised in forensic accounting since 1996, following his qualification as a Chartered Accountant in 1994. From 2006, he held client-facing roles within the forensic accounting team of an international, top tier accounting firm before establishing Smiths Forensic Accounting in 2024.
Adam is regularly engaged by clients in an expert witness, independent expert or advisory capacity and has prepared many reports for the purpose of Court proceedings, ADR or to inform settlement discussions. Adam has given expert evidence on a number of occasions. Adam also has significant experience of directing fraud, accounting and other investigations.
Outside of work, Adam holds a private pilot’s licence and enjoys following Liverpool FC on a regular basis, cooking, gaming and spending time with family and friends. He can sometimes be found in a gym too.
Sara Smith
Sara is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and a member of the Compulsory Purchase Association.
Sara specialised in forensic accounting following qualification as a Chartered Accountant in 1999 and held client-facing roles within the forensic accounting team of a Big 4 firm from 2000, latterly leading that firm’s national forensic disputes practice.
Whilst Sara has a broad range of forensic accounting experience, her main area of focus is disputes. In this regard, Sara is engaged by clients in an expert witness, independent expert or advisory capacity and has prepared many reports for the purpose of Court proceedings, ADR or to inform settlement discussions. Sara has given expert evidence in the High Court.
Outside of work, Sara enjoys going to the gym, gardening, cooking and spending time with family and friends. She has also been known to decorate a cake or two…
